CATA Hall of Fame - Class of 2010

Abdul Mohamed
Imperial HS 1975-1986 and 1987-2006

Teacher of Excellence
Outstanding Teacher

Abdul Mohamed taught 31 years in the classroom at Imperial High School as a teacher, an advisor, and a friend to those many students who were more like family. His accomplishments and accolades are many but seeing his students come back to say hi and to show him their accomplishments in life are better than any plaque or trophy hanging on the wall. His dedication was instilled into them and they in turn are imprinted on a generation of young people. He provided students with the tools for lifelong success.

Stanley Rose
Righetti HS 1969-2005 CATA President 1989-1990

Teacher of Excellence 1984
Outstanding Teacher 1993

Stan Rose spent 35 years as a teacher of agriculture, FFA Advisor, and student project advisor at Righetti High School in Santa Maria. His strong work ethics and dedication to perfection built a strong program that affected thousands of students and many are gainfully employed in the diverse agriculture industry in the Santa Maria area. And like many successful ag teachers, his pride and joy is in the students who have come back to say hello and "thank you" for the many life lessons learned in the FFA program through the wisdom and guidance of Mr. Rose.
